Seek, Discover, and Frame the Best Shot

By Tobias Friedrich

Taking images of cool and unique subjects like this rare Nudibranch is a fantastic achievement in underwater photography. But more important than taking an image of a rare animal is to find it in a good position for framing a great shot. If the Nudibranch isn't at a good angle, it's best to skip the photo and look for a better opportunity.  Look for good color and features in the subject; and contrast, like a nice bluewater background.
