Capturing Captivating Verticals with the Micro 3.0
By Tobias Friedrich
The easiest way to take images underwater is to hold your camera naturally in a horizontal position. However vertical images, especially for social media, can create captivating photos! Try to look for subjects that are vertically oriented to capture these scenes. The Micro 3.0's default 4:3 (or 3:4) 16mp image ratio is perfect, and you can also easily crop it to make a square image, if desired. Use a wide angle lens like the Micro Wide Angle Dome Lens so you can get the maximum angle into the shot. And with the SeaLife Flex-Connect Flex Arms, you'll also easily be able to direct the light where you want it, like this anemone.
Equipment: Micro 3.0 Reef Edition Camera Set, includes Wide Angle Lens, Sea Dragon 5000+ Color Boost, Flex-Connect Flex arm, Grip & Micro Tray.
