Get Close for Color and Contrast

By Tobias Friedrich

When you're on a wreck dive, get close enough to the wreck to highlight the coral reef growing over its structure, showing the contrast between metal and marine life. Shoot from an angle that reveals both the shape of the wreck and the textures of the coral, using as much natural light as possible to bring out vibrant colors. Move slowly and keep your housing steady to avoid blur and sediment clouds.
