Working with Sun Rays and their Effects

By Tobias Friedrich

The Sea Dragon Photo-Video lights are wonderful for seeing and capturing vibrant colors underwater since light and color tends to fade at depth. However, when shooting sunrays in an upward direction, as in this example, it's important to switch off any lights to capture sunrays and their effect in the water. This is especially important with a foreground object, like a part of a wreck. Position the object between the camera and the sun, and then, shoot the image.
