Depth Perspectives, Shoot Upward and Add Depth to your Image

One of the most important rules in underwater photography is to shoot up towards the surface. With this technique, you'll add contrast, separating the subject from the background and showing the audience the approximate depth from where you're taking the shot. Of course, you can break this rule for certain images, as seen in the plane wreck post a few weeks ago - but aiming up usually takes the prize!
