With rugged pinnacles, dramatic drop-offs and abyss depths, Dominica’s waters are a paradise for divers and water adventurers. The island has long been a treasured top 5 dive destination in the world and Fort Young, with its full-service dive center and landmark location along the shores of the Caribbean Sea, has played host to dive travelers from around the world for more than a decade.

Dominica is home to nearly 250 resident sperm whales, with year-round whale watching and in-water swimming with the whales by special government permit

WHALES OF DOMINICA: With over 300 square miles of marine protected area and the world's only sperm whale reserve, visitors can witness the intriguing behaviors of Dominica’s resident giants up close with whale watching tours and exclusive in-water experiences.
